DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

Full Service Editing

• This comprises of developmental editing, copyediting, and proofreading. (3 drafts)

PAYMENT TERMS:

Customer will compensate 2FEET PRODUCTIONS for full review and editing of customer's manuscript. Pricing is based on the word count and the type of manuscript.

CONTRACT TERMS:

This agreement shall terminate automatically on completion.

​

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER:

Customer is responsible for timely submission of materials requested by 2FEET PRODUCTIONS. This may include but are not limited to the following: 

• Manuscript: Your document must be submitted in any of the following formats MS Word, Google Docs, or Apple Pages.

• Guidelines or Instructions: Clear instructions about the type of editing required, the tone and style preferences, specific areas of concern, and any particular style guide to follow.

• Timeline: Deadline or timeline for completing the editing work.

• Timeliness: It is the Customer's responsibility to return edited drafts to the editor in a timely manner. 

• Background Information: 2FEET PRODUCTIONS may require background information or additional resources to ensure accuracy and consistency in editing.

• Permission: If the manuscript contains copyrighted material or content that requires permissions for editing, Customer will need to provide necessary permission or clarify legal aspects.

• Feedback: Any previous feedback received on customer's manuscript, such as from beta readers or peer reviewers is valuable to the editor.

OWNERSHIP:

All works, ideas, discoveries, inventions, patents, products, or other information developed in whole or in part by 2FEET PRODUCTIONS in connection with these services shall be the exclusive property of the Customer upon completion of the service.

CONFIDENTIALITY/NON-DISCLOSURE:

2FEET PRODUCTIONS will not, at any time, or in any manner, either directly or indirectly divulge, disclose, or communicate any proprietary material provided by the Customer. 2FEET PRODUCTIONS will protect all confidential information. This provision extends beyond the termination of this contract.

CANCELLATION:

All sales are final. Payments under this agreement are non-refundable.

NOTES:

• It is highly recommended that your work be done on a computer rather than a tablet or phone. 

• All communication and transmittal of edits are done electronically.

• Video conferencing is available via Facetime or Facebook Messenger.
